作者對古希臘悲劇、舊約神話、康德倫理學等內容的引入十分可疑；對巴塔耶、尼采、盧梭等人的援引流於錶麵；藉助精神分析與女性主義的詮釋則又難免落俗。總之要瞭解薩德根本不用讀這本書（直接用《閨房哲學》或其他文本來進入反倒更直接、清晰；進階的研究，比如說，可以直接讀作者反復引用的Angela Carter）。部分問題見讀書筆記，總的來說隻是（閱讀量較廣的）本科生水平（可能還是低年級本科生）。

薩德怎麼可能這麼積極善良！果然這麼搞纔能把這麼個人學術化。。稀奇古怪的詞匯差點讓我中道棄瞭，看完之後又準備再看一遍，把這些詞好好記一記（泥垢）
