评分She felt very young, at the same time unspeakably aged. She sliced like a knife through everything, at the same time was out side, looking on.
评分憂鬱、辛辣而不失幽默的語言，一係列長鏡頭描寫，毫無喘息的機會。前半部分十分詩意，所以對最後的宴會懷有過多期待。
评分Peter Walsh還是Richard Dalloway? Clarissa最後選擇瞭後者。剛開始讀不明白為什麼不選Peter這種典型soulmate,讀完纔意識到Peter對她太瞭解以至於在他麵前一點隱私都沒，由此産生瞭恐慌。以及很多時候人是無法相互理解的，正如Sally所說"what can one know even of the people one lives with every day?而Peter總會把自己的判斷強加給Clarissa, 這種自信乃至自負無疑將Clarissa趕到瞭Richard的那一邊，雖然沒有轟轟烈烈的愛，至少雙方始終保持一定距離，確保瞭隱私和心靈的自由。
