約翰·道格拉斯：美國聯邦調查局行為科學調查支援科創建人，任職聯邦調查專員25年，是美國頂尖的罪犯人格側寫專傢，現代犯罪調查分析的開創者，被譽為美國的現代福爾摩斯。他是電影《沉默的羔羊》中特工傑剋·剋勞福德的原型，同時也是《沉默的羔羊》、《漢尼拔》等犯罪電影的專傢顧問；著有《動機剖析》、《頂級懸案》、《你說我是誰，我就是誰》、《變態殺手》等多部作品。

馬剋·奧爾謝剋：美國著名電影製片人，曾任多部紀錄片的導演及編劇，1994年憑《羅馬城》一片獲艾美奬最佳編劇奬。著有《愛因斯坦的大腦》、《非自然死亡》、《血族》等多部極受好評的懸疑小說。

閻衛平：英語文學碩士。多年從事大學英語教學。90年代起，先後就職於信托公司、財務公司、風險投資公司等。主要閤譯著有：《讀心神探》（《心理神探》）、《迫切的危機》、《失落的世界》、《毒蛇窩》、《不在犯罪現場》等。近十年來，廣泛從事財經類、法律類和文化類題材的中英互譯。現為江蘇省科技翻譯工作者協會理事。

刚买回来这本书的时候是因为看CM着魔了的关系。顺便说一句，Amazon上卖的挺便宜的。一开始以为会直接讲起案子来，不想Douglas以自己的生平讲起，缓缓地从一个来自布鲁克林的男孩到大学生（没毕业），最后成为FBI的一员，还慢慢讲到BSU的组建。不知什么时候开始讲起的零碎一...
