评分這本有我讀的第一篇A.V. Moudon的文章，當時還隻知道Castells和Harvey。Newman和Kenworthy的那本書雖然有名，但這個章節放在這裏有點水。。。
评分在本雅明看來，資本主義的起源摻雜著欲望、夢想與拜物教，而城市正是這些精神機製的物質化實體：透過城市形象的碎片，可以看到未能實現已先墮落的神話與意識形態。這或許是本書從political economics維度重新審視城市規劃與設計的靈感。選編的文章有不少經典文獻，但也有些並不符閤編者設定的critique視角，尤其是environment和aesthetic兩部分，大部分淪陷於浮誇的人文形而上學或保守的技術理論。不過呢，總的來說，分節很清晰。
