收录的A small, good thing在《论爱情》中是“the bath”，对比就知道卡佛修改创作的习惯，好奇是什么让他突然把一个冷淡不安的故事改成了一个稍稍温暖的厨房故事。另，一猜想：卡佛写短篇除了自己说的穷之外，显然短篇更容易起名字，大量小说标题都来自人物对话。

评分Carver's short stories ought to be named fine writings, for its accurately used words, and without any extra rhetorics, therefore forming a style of cool. I like it. It remind me of Hemmingway. Moreover, the stories all concern about the normal people. Some may despite it, but I'd like to tell you: it's what we are short of indeed.
