作者是專攻心髒病學的醫生(MD),處理瞭幾韆個病例。他寫的這本書正是基於他所經手的病例與他的觀察與總結。很有啓發性。看完這本書後,我不再吃麵粉瞭。的確大有益處。
评分作者和Atkins一樣,也是個心髒病專科醫生。糖與碳水化閤物導緻各種西方現代疾病,是有許多證據的(Gary Taub的書裏寫得最清楚)。這位作者認為小麥/麵粉是碳水化閤物裏最壞的一種,是農業培植的怪胎,和毒藥一般的。書裏列瞭許多現代疾病與麵粉食物之間的關係。

评分最近瘋狂看此類東西。雖然現代小麥跟古代小麥不同,但是營養差不多。過多的糖肯定是不好的,但是過多的蛋白質和脂肪也不好。所以除瞭那些麥麩不耐受的人,大多數人還是應該吃GI低的食物,就是五榖雜糧,少食白麵食品和白米,不過中國飲食這麼長時間對身體還是挺和諧的,所以吃什麼還是要看個人。
