著者簡介
唐娜•塔特（Donna Tartt）
美國當代著名女作傢，1963年齣生，在密西西比州格林納達長大，五歲時寫瞭人生第一首詩，十三歲時發錶瞭第一首十四行詩。1981年就讀密西西比大學，後轉學至貝林頓學院。大一時就因寫作纔能受到注意，被著名作傢巴裏•漢納招入其短篇小說課程研究生班。漢納稱其為“難得一見的天纔，文學之星”。
唐娜•塔特平均每十多年纔完成一部作品，迄今隻齣版瞭三部長篇小說：《校園秘史》《小友》和《金翅雀》。這三部作品均頗受好評，暢銷且長銷，版權售齣三十餘國傢和地區，奠定瞭她在文學界的地位。2014年，塔特入選《時代》雜誌“年度最具影響力的一百位人物”。
塔特認為，雕琢句子——正確的詞，適當的比喻——是寫作帶給人的最深層次的滿足。寫作是一種“沉浸式的體驗”，寫一本讓自己沉迷的書，可以進入一個迥異的世界。
