整部书的翻译总体还不错，阅读比较通畅，没有特别拗口的地方。内容也还可以。对了解西方新闻媒体的购并有一定的帮助。只是部分章节的翻译比较差，似乎不是同一个人翻译的，比如说将lead头条新闻，直接音译成了里德，任何一个对报纸有了解的人，应该都不会这么来翻译的。

不知道是原文问题，还是翻译问题，总之句子不通，代词指代不明。而且价格比一般书籍贵很多，不知道他有什么自信卖这么贵。只想说，书在这个社会比起其他东西来可能不算昂贵，但是也不能以此为理由乱提高价钱，版权具有排他性，如果有另一个出版社出版这个书，我相信绝对比它便宜。
