A good introduction of the China-Burma-India theater in WWII from the American perspective. The CBI theater was planed to be the major theater to push back the Japanese. Instead, the passivity of China and dubiety of U.K. made it a "forgotten theater". Lives are wasted in the Burmese jungle and over the Hump.
