We all want to help. Over the past fifty years $1 trillion of aid has flowed from Western governments to Africa, with rock stars and actors campaigning for more. But this has not helped Africa. It has ruined it. Dambisa Moyo's excoriating and controversial book reveals why millions are actually poorer because of aid, unable to escape corruption and reduced, in the West's eyes, to a childlike state of beggary. 评分应该是一个很好的切入点，对比欧洲复兴的“马歇尔计划”，亚洲四小龙，四小虎，墨西哥的经济危机，讨论了从布雷顿森林体系以来的对非洲的援助，初始的灾情救援到后面的政策化的工业化，民主化，生活救助，探讨了非洲援助计划的失效，……应该是很好的阅读材料，但是书籍纸张真是太差了，味道刺鼻，“不忍卒读”！
