著者簡介

忻海,浙江鄞縣人,隨父母支邊在甘肅蘭州長大。幼時貪玩,長大以後總想賴在學校裏,先後獲得中國科技大學信息科學係學士、倫敦政治經濟學院經濟學碩士、倫敦帝國理工大學金融學博士。

博士畢業後惶惶然中,在咖啡館偶遇瑞士銀行倫敦總裁,於是在倫敦賣身瑞銀十年,曾就任瑞銀投資銀行的外匯部和資本市場部,負責金融工程。任執行董事;現任法國巴黎銀行資産管理部外匯重置業務亞太區主管、董事總經理,統領屬下兩人半。最得意的成就是在英國廣播公司中文部任時事節目編輯和英語教學節目主播(四年),還在倫敦開過一個豆腐工廠(作坊),做齣的百葉超好吃。

著有《白話金融投資》和currency Overlay:A Practical Guide(《外匯重置:實用指南》,英文版),後者是金融行業微不足道的一個子行業的權威著作,在颱灣見過盜版版本。

業餘喜歡排球、旅遊和美食(開豆腐廠的動機)。目前居住在中國香港。
