To accommodate the different calculus backgrounds of students, footnotes are given with references to other texts that contain proofs and discussions of the more delicate results in advanced calculus. Improvements in the text include extended explanations of theorems, greater detail in arguments, and the separation of topics into their own sections.

比起我們學校數學係齣的《復變函數與積分變換》課本，習題多，難度適中，講解也清晰，來龍去脈講解相對清楚，國外教材就是適閤推演式的學習方式。國內工科教材就是強調短小精簡，以為可以減輕學生負擔，但其實適得其反，學下來更是一頭霧水，隻靠刷題。不過，如果是應付考試，還是多做題、直接記憶課本上的公式比較實在高效。

本科的教材，當時被書上的證明虐的半死，前前後後刷瞭七遍這本書纔大概明白證明的思想。個人覺得證明實在看不懂可以跳過去，以後迴來再看也可以。

這本書其實算不上復分析，內容淺顯易懂，不適閤數學係看，但是對於物理係和工科卻好使的很。

原書事無巨細適閤自學！！可是機械工業的影印版為毛是尼瑪中英文混編的a ！！！讀著好好的都是英語啊！！突然讀到瞭個THM全尼瑪變漢語瞭啊！！有這麼編書的麼！！
