读的第一本英文原著。

这本书读了快两个月了，毕竟英语不太好，被单词困扰的比较难受。最后两章，因为突然进入高潮，便迫切地读完了，长舒一口气。这本书是苏联历史的明喻，虽然作者一些刻意展露的社会细节有些观点的偏向，但给人带来的反思确实很有意义。政治和历史都是越了解，越觉得自己幼稚和肤浅的东西吖。

故事虽然比较概念化，但奥威尔对暴力的描写依然撼人心魄，”把人不当人，而当作牛马“，这样的暴力，正如拿破仑豢养的恶犬，一直蛰伏在历史的幽暗处，偶尔扑出来，便将我们撕得粉碎。

Don't really like it, considering its misunderstood innuendo. This book is less about Communism than about human nature.
