迈克尔·罗伯森，1960年生于澳大利亚新南威尔士州，1979年进入悉尼《太阳报》成为一名记者。在新闻业沉浮14年后，改行做匿名写手，先后替15位艺术、政治、军事和体育名人执笔自传，其中有12本登上畅销榜。历经十年为人作嫁，开始用本名写小说。

评分Stephen King said it’s the most suspenseful book he read all year. I think he is been sarcastic. This is nothing as compared to Mr Mercedes, that is REAL suspense. The only surprise is the armature and unprofessional mistakes (mind the plural)made by DI.
