其实，泰戈尔自己翻译的英文译本，文字非常优美灵动，虽然损失了印度诗歌的韵律感，但是韵律感这东西，翻译成中文并不讨好，设想我们看到的不是这种舒缓的散文，而是押韵的排句，我们能够象这样体会其中的优美吗？  

泰戈尔凭借《吉檀迦利》获得了1913年的诺贝尔文学奖。他是第一个获得诺贝尔奖的亚洲人。他的得奖评语是这样的：“由于他那至为敏锐、清新与优美的诗；这诗出之以高超的技巧，并由他自己用英文表达出来，使他那充满诗意的思想业已成为西方文学的一部分。” 是的，泰戈尔的大多数...
