著者简介

鲁伯特·潘尼（1909—1970）本名Ernest Basil Charles Thornett，出生于英国康沃尔。第二次大战期间他在英国政府的密码学校工作，战后仍然在政府的通信总部（GCHQ）工作。他从1936年到1941年间发表了八部侦探小说，都以解谜为特色，有的还插入了类似埃勒里·奎因的挑战读者，颇具游戏精神。

警察办案模式，这本和《Policeman's Evidence》比起来，算是说了些人话，不过仍然是不会营造悬念。于是我继续选择了跳读。由衷敬佩将这本书翻译成中文的译者。说句实在话，诡计再漂亮再复杂，也得有个好故事来衬托啊.。简介【https://www.douban.com/note/725526466/】

诡计很牛，而且有复杂的情结和布局，不像这个作者其它两本书，虽然还是很啰嗦

诡计很强（为什么有岛田老师各种抄了这本的感觉），这回是真正的无头尸了。plot虽然也挺复杂但和talkative policeman没法比。一如既往的枯燥啊
