it's surprisingly hard to read in the sense that it's constructed loose. That is, it's a poet's work that I read as philosophy. it's relation to Kant is intricate. It's of my judgement that Schiller's theory is more provisional than his own treatment of it. In other words, it has a tension which goes beyond the fine art in his conception.

《审美教育书简》读完跟席勒奋战到底，几千字的摘录回归到一张图表，实在头晕，也不知道理解的对不对。 一边是：感性，物质，多样性，主观，个体，状态，变化，实在，受动…… 一边是：理性，精神，一体性，客观，类属，人格，不变，形式，自由…… 把两边对立且连结的就是美，...

终于读完了！！！???? 不得不说这是一次烧脑的艰难之旅。两百多年了，这个写了《阴谋与爱情》的席勒，一度曾参与，后来因为害怕法国的政治暴力，陷入到康德的唯心主义中，研究美学，试图通过美恢复像古希腊那样人性的和谐统一，实现内心真正的自由，达到理想的和谐的社会。……...
