Imagine a universe created by a very lonely god whose whole purpose in the creation was to make a companion for himself. Now imagine that the companion wasn't at all sure that was what she wanted to be Sara is a woman born from the "soup of thought - desires, dreams, hopes and fears . and prayers - that flow across space and time from all conscious beings" and destined to be the Companion of God. But the best laid plans of mice and men . and even gods often go astray. Sara isn't sure she wants to be God's companion . and before she can decide, she faces a host of trials including her own "becoming," her love for the man who's mind she has shared since their mutual youth, interference from Luci (the luscious devil who wouldn't mind a companion of her own), and other problems.
