The Most Recent Projects by the Spanish Architect Fernando Menis. The essence of Menis' architectural work is based on repeating the best of the past, re-creating situations that have worked before. His method is grounded in the need to re-utilize resources of nature and the landscape, culture and history, according to each project and place. His architecture is closely tied to his awareness of living in a valuable and strictly limited territory: the Canary Islands.

The architecture of Menis is inspired by the clear, powerful landscape of Tenerife. Menis proposes architecture that is needed by the environment. When he thinks of a new building, he considers its plasticity as a unified work which begins from its form. He thinks about the program functionality, defining the work potential to evolve and grow. The projects and buildings presented in this book range from his first work with partners Artengo Menis Pastrana to his current projects with Menis Arquitectos.

Featured works include the experimental construction of the MAGMA, the restoration of the Tanque, and the MM House with its unique staircase and facade resembling the trunk of a palm tree.
