具體描述
《毛詩品物圖考》由岡元鳳纂輯，是十八世紀日本漢學傢對中國古代第一部詩歌總集《詩經》中植物、動物的圖釋著作。全書共七捲，分為草、木、鳥、獸、蟲、魚六個部類，圖配文字考證，其中有211幅插圖。
該書於十九世紀傳入中國後也受到歡迎，清末、民國乃至當代多次齣版，廣為流傳。此本為彩繪本，現藏颱北故宮博物院，繪者不詳，約繪製於清光緒時期，書前有清光緒十二年（1886）戴兆春序。
本書為山東大學王承略教授解讀版，書中除原版的文字、插圖外，新增對原文的解讀和原詩（《詩經》原文）。此外，王承略教授還將原書中的同類名物進行歸類，以方便讀者理解

作者簡介：
岡元鳳（1737—1787）儒者、漢詩人和儒醫，字公翼，通稱元達，號魯庵、慈庵、白州、淡齋。撰有《毛詩名物圖考》《離騷名物考》等著作。
王承略
山東大學儒學高等研究院教授、博士生導師，中國《詩經》學會常務理事。
