凯恩斯是现代西方经济奠基人之一，其实也可以看成反自由主义经济家之一。此书是他的代表性作品。 资本主义制度建立之时，一直鼓吹自由市场，反对政府“掌握”经济，其实也许只是在国内，对外殖民和帝国主义行为倒是一直依赖着政府。可是随着全球化的基本建立以及垄断组织的形成...

强烈推荐这本书以及徐毓枬的译本。比高鸿业的译本明显要准确而且简洁。 百度百科的资料： 他是第一个真正从剑桥拿到经济学博士学位的中国人，也是亲自聆听过凯恩斯讲课的中国人。他回国后，就执鞭于西南联大，后入清华。 他还是凯恩斯《就业利息和货币通论》的最早翻译者，...

你说，不要做个知道主义，盖上书，说说看自己的理解。 我当时，觉得脸上火辣辣的。 不要做两脚书柜、知道主义。

高鸿业翻译很差，怀疑他是否读懂了《通论》。 高鸿业的版本是商务印书馆重译本。高鸿业是编了《经济学》教材的人大经济学权威，按理应该翻译好此名著。事实上里面很多句子不通顺，不像中国话。 对比下来，原先徐毓枬译本要好很多很多，尽管是部分文言翻译。
