作者简介

Patrick Radden Keefe is an award-winning staff writer at The New Yorker magazine and the author of Say Nothing: A True Story of Murder and Memory in Northern Ireland, as well as two previous critically acclaimed books, The Snakehead and Chatter. He received the National Award for reporting in 2015 and 2016, and is the recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship and an Eric and Wendy Schmidt scholar, he holds Master's degrees from Cambridge University and the London School of Economics, and a law degree from Yale. He lives in New York.

翔实，内容非常多，我还专门开了一个文档记人名，不过发现没啥必要，记住prices， jean那几个人就行了。是多线并行的写法，失踪的母亲 vs IRA的战士。这样的书并不好写，因为是一个一个的横截面，很容易连不起来造成混乱，这本书几乎没有这样的问题。喜欢这本书还有一个原因，是它总让我想起今时今日的洪坑，热血的年轻人与authority之间的对抗，不过洪坑年轻人远远比不上IRA就是了… 结尾部分让人唏嘘，一切莫名其妙的结束，有人在这场斗争的阴影里结束一生，有人将用人命换来的成果占为己有，翻身做主人，不知道今时今日的洪坑年轻人，将来会如何看待自己的青春。还有Belfast project与BU的纠葛，正规学术界对两个project architect的嘲讽…有种现实冷幽默的感觉????
