最討厭的情節就是Bosch毫無顧忌的使用Pound的名義，甚至偷用他的警徽來調查他母親的舊案。尤其明知到案件牽涉到數個政壇重要人物，還是假冒瞭Pound的名字，刺激嫌疑人。身為一個已經工作二十年的警探，還是善於偵破謀殺案，他不可能不預料這種行為會給Pound帶來的傷害，為瞭成功破案不計後果的推進
