刚开始是在学校看到有同学在阿里推打折网http://www.alitui.com/remai/买了这个版本，我翻了下质量蛮好的之后就开始迷恋了 之前在印度旅行的时候买了原版书Unaccustomed Earth，非常好的一本小说集。写出了印度第二代移民在中西方文化之间的游荡和碰撞，远离和回归。

评分充满的东方文化和细腻情感的书。 很久之前读的了，看泡芙小姐时，里面说的。好奇就买来看了，当时家庭关系还不较复杂，读里面好几个关于婚姻关系的故事，心里有些小小的震撼，原来心灵还可以是这样的。似乎某部分确实了，或许从来就没找到过。

这个女作家很神奇，语言轻描淡写到口水话，小说中的主角永远是印度某地去boston的phd，但是作品就是扣人心弦，说不出来的好。。。

评分短篇小說集，只讀了主打故事“不適之地”，沒感覺有什麽不適的啊，看上去你們不論是印度還是孟加拉的過的比阿拉伯來的還滋潤。再說都是G2了，還能有什麽不適呢，苦大仇深的我苦不堪言啊，罄竹難書！！
