作者简介
新渡户稻造（1862—1933）：日本的思想家、教育学家、国际政治活动家、基督教信徒。早年毕业于札幌农学校，曾先后赴美、德留学。回国后在多所大学任教，1918年任东京女子大学第一任校长。《武士道》时期最为著名的一部著作，他本人也因此成为日本精神和伦理学的权威。1984年发行的日本银行券5000日元上及印有其肖像。
