不愧是Lantolf，俨然已经是社会文化理论在二语习得领域的掌门人了。此书摊子铺得不大，只讲了中介、内化与活动理论这三个核心概念，但把它们对二语习得的影响说得很透，贵在精深。我觉得甚至可以当做了解社会文化理论的书去看了，由于有了语言发展的依托，或许比Leontev、Werstch、Cole他们的著作还要易懂一些。
