雖然沒有讀完整本。但是The Work of Art in the Age of Its Technological Reproducibility的翻譯，完全有彆於更常被接觸到的譯本The Work of Art in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction（近似中文采取之譯名：“機械復製”）。掰著指頭是第五個年頭接觸這篇文章瞭，而老師的書也一直帶在身邊卻抱憾沒能力去解讀，但接觸到這個英譯本實屬幸運，也推薦所有讀者有英語閱讀能力的話選擇這個版本，然後拿企鵝版本對照。

评分這本裏的技術復製時代藝術是約1936年的第二版，是參照selected writings裏收的第三版翻譯的，很方便用於比較兩者之間的變化。
