Deep rooted, baroque animosity is the panacea to heal all 道德還是靠不住啊…；看瞭intro，chap1&2，有點像看故事，核心意思很簡單，就是美利堅的宗教和道德總是處於revival的狀態中，一開始的驅動力是很強的【自我】和【他人】的界限，幾種對於puritan rigidity破壞的類型，Hutchinson的antinomian，Quaker（這兩種都是從內部打破瞭puritan的秩序），對amerindian的屠殺（外部的敵人），最後是witch hunting（這種是最恐怖的，“魔鬼在我們中間”，外部的敵人隱匿在內部）；其他不太記得瞭，反正就是各種罪惡……
