During a restless summer on the Italian Riviera, a powerful romance blooms between seventeen-year-old Elio and his father's house guest, Oliver. Unrelenting currents of obsession and fear, fascination and desire threaten to overwhelm the lovers who at first feign indifference to the charge between them. What grows from the depths of their souls is a romance of scarcely six weeks' duration, and an experience that marks them for a lifetime. For what the two discover on the Riviera and during a sultry evening in Rome is the one thing they both already fear they may never truly find again: total intimacy.
著者簡介
André Aciman (born 2 January 1951) is an American writer. Born and raised in Alexandria, Egypt, he is currently distinguished professor at the Graduate Center of City University of New York, where he teaches the history of literary theory and the works of Marcel Proust. He is the author of several novels, including Call Me by Your Name (winner, in the Gay Fiction category, of the 2007 Lambda Literary Award) and a 1995 memoir, Out of Egypt, which won a Whiting Award.

评分就是那種很雋永的感情，就是那種人生用before x和after x來區分的感情。Elio絮絮叨叨寫瞭他的心動，他的迴憶，他心裏那個永恒的夏天。Oliver怎麼會忘記呢，他比Elio更細膩，更聰慧，更美好。
评分前半部分Elio內心真的戲多（吐槽......）最後卻感動的想哭，因為一度認為是Oliver用情更深，但是20年後，Elio還是hold still，雖然我不認為Oliver忘瞭，他應該真的remember everything，但是那個年齡的Elio沒想到真的付齣瞭真心，遇到瞭唯一的那個人。這個故事真的不能用男人和男人來概括，年齡更不是問題，是一個靈魂與另一個靈魂的相遇（like each other） 而Elio爸爸說的那段話也實在是感人至深，Elio真的很幸運。
评分節奏很慢，超大量的心理描寫，理論上說應該很枯燥，但是這本書卻讓人一直想要知道後麵的故事，想知道他們倆到底怎麼樣瞭。結尾大大齣乎意料，原以為這樣刻骨銘心的愛情故事，尤其是同性間的愛情故事一定會有一個轟轟烈烈的生離死彆，沒想到就那樣結束瞭。不過這個結尾其實纔是最有力量的，死並不可怕，苟活纔是地獄。不過最最後那種慣看鞦月春風，都付笑談中的氣氛還是有點兒接受不瞭。
评分好美的小說，細膩的心思描繪，真摯的感情傳遞，六周的相處足以迴味一生。與電影的不同之處可謂各有各的魅力，兩個故事的走嚮都讓人長嘆不矣，隻願再一次聽你call me by your name.
