整本书所要传达给人的信息就是cosmic perspective, 一种宇宙视角；这本书的难度也不亚于专业书，主要是大量的专业词，大量的理论知识。就我看下来的感受，除了第八章On Being Round介绍元素周期表略微轻松外，其余章节真的是如鲠在喉。这类型书看得越多，会愈加感觉到自己的无知。连个国家之骄傲——世界第一的radio telescope——FAST就坐落在邻省贵州都不知道。另，作者文笔清奇，有趣而又不失诙谐，太多地方会看到咧嘴笑。此书原计划是2.14前看完，哪想脱单了3.9，罪过罪过。
