超屌的一本书，超级屌。

它的外观和重量肯定算书籍里的monolith，可能是在和电影中的那块black monolith呼应。超多巨幅高清的图片看起来好爽，海报就不说了，幕后工作、飞船模型、设计图纸、场景分镜图都有，还包括了电影里删去的一些片段。（最爱有K的照片）文字部分写得也不错，从幕后筹划到制作、电影上映效果以及后续的影响，可以对2001的诞生有很全面的了解，包括60年代中期美国和苏联冷战的政治环境、人工智能和航天技术发展，K与Clark的合作，那段奇幻的视觉盛宴如何被制作出来的等等。其中还涉及了K的奇爱博士，以及一篇采访原稿。这位作者是科学记者，在最后对多重宇宙和美国的太空探索有较多延伸，同时可以感觉到一些哲学背景，关于consciousness的qualia、binding problem居然也有介绍。
