一年前讀完的，當時不以為意，覺得過分戲劇化，直到現在看瞭Hilary Mantel的短篇小說很舒服纔明白是之前看瞭這本書有瞭鋪墊，纔明白自己以前根本不知道什麼叫短篇小說，纔開始佩服優秀的Munro。

喜歡最後一篇的魔鬼之舞。

人物齣場很直接，讀者容易暈，不太好習慣。描寫男性，傾嚮剪影處理，布景化；但描寫女性實在刻薄，精雕細琢，這種自省自嘲讓人起敬。最後那個故事，從寫法到構思，到節奏把控，纔華橫溢。注：有人評價Munro的格局小，我呢，最煩那些所謂格局大的人或事。
