Caitlin Doughty is a licensed mortician and the host and creator of the "Ask a Mortician" web series. She founded the death acceptance collective The Order of the Good Death and cofounded Death Salon. She lives in Los Angeles.

Caitlyn Doughty 的 Youtube 頻道 Ask A Mortician 我前段時間纔關注，順藤摸瓜找到瞭這本書，讀下來果然不讓人失望。Caitlyn 主張的 Death Positive 在她的很多視頻裏都有體現，但這本 memoir 因為結閤瞭她在殯儀館（火化師）、殯儀學校和個人傢庭生活的經曆，她的主張變得更生動、有支持、有力量。而且Caitlyn 真的很會寫！！開篇寫給第一個屍體脫毛就令人感到驚艷（這句怎麼感覺怪怪的…）。Audio book 由她本人朗讀，和她 on-camera 的幽默感一脈相承。總之就是無論是齣於好奇、恐懼還是對死亡思考的目的，這都是一本非常值得推薦的好書～

確實是一本有趣的書。用詼諧的口吻描述入殮師的工作和自身經歷。絕望過，想過要自殺，但整個描述的過程，卻不讓人覺得沉重，這點讓我很喜歡。隨著閱讀量和年齡的變化，對書籍的挑選和閱讀也開始越來越奇怪。一方麵，越來越認可和欣賞經典文學作品。另一方麵，對於冷門或邊緣話題的書籍開始產生濃厚興趣。
