Alain de Botton is the author of nonfiction works on subjects ranging from love and travel to architecture and philosophy. 評分感觉实际上就是传播学一些基础理论的通俗化描述和解读，提出了一些乌托邦式的愿景，作者自己也知道可行性不大。长处是文字优美，易于阅读，但对专业从业者似乎意义不大，可深思处不多。必须单独提出表扬的是，译文非常生动晓畅。

评分雖然隻看最後一章就可以，但還是五分。。。
评分很傳統的人文視角，某種程度上也可以理解為歐洲許知遠的眼光。我承認作者的很多看法，新聞並沒有改變我們世界觀裏的冷漠和狹隘。但或許我們的人性就是如此冷漠而狹隘。
评分對每日攝入的信息稍有挑剔和反思的讀者，應該不會覺得書中的批判多刺激。但纔子的文筆實在太~好~瞭~午休時鑽到樓下書店零散讀幾章，成瞭每天最期待的事情。//於是在local同事眼中更奇怪瞭//Dymocks已經撤齣IFC瞭，Metrobooks你可要挺住啊!
