Alain de Botton is the author of nonfiction works on subjects ranging from love and travel to architecture and philosophy. 评分对每日摄入的信息稍有挑剔和反思的读者，应该不会觉得书中的批判多刺激。但才子的文笔实在太~好~了~午休时钻到楼下书店零散读几章，成了每天最期待的事情。//于是在local同事眼中更奇怪了//Dymocks已经撤出IFC了，Metrobooks你可要挺住啊!

评分很传统的人文视角，某种程度上也可以理解为欧洲许知远的眼光。我承认作者的很多看法，新闻并没有改变我们世界观里的冷漠和狭隘。但或许我们的人性就是如此冷漠而狭隘。
