Educated at Barnard College, New York., she worked as a stenographer, copy writer, journalist and night club hostess before becoming a full time writer. 3.5星，感觉这更像是部悬疑小说，可能更接近于noir的风格。本书难点不在于凶手是谁，而在于动机，我觉得绝大多数读者都很难想到背后真正的动机吧。

看本书最大的疑问是：到底是为了什么？至少我到最后解答时也没有猜出来。真凶么就在那几个人当中，毕竟最后嫌疑人死的差不多了
