这是本好书,个人觉得这是硬件描述语言的最佳入门书.因为这里面对比的讲了verilog/vhdl两种.同时前面对数字电路基础的讲解也颇为独特!书中讲了mips的架构,给出了一个较为完整的处理器的实现代码,例子生动,通俗易懂,不可多得,绝对五星!个人认为看csapp不如看这本来的直白,但是很多cs的学生可能不会太关注此类书籍.另外最后一句,此书写的好就好在比较详细,非常适合自学!

从底层电路讲起到最后计算机体系结构结束作者用通俗的语言耐心的将数字设计与计算机体系结构展现在我们面前算是计算机体系结构的一本入门书籍读起来难度低最大的感受就是作者讲起来知识点非常耐心不会像某些教材扔个概念说两三句就跑了

整本书最精彩的章节，是第一章 From Zero to One。作者把人类在设计计算机结构时用到的抽象技巧，分析的透透彻彻。其中很多观点，对思考大型软硬件的架构颇有裨益
