评分论productive power和World as exhibition的形成。过于激进以致于不能成为历史社会学甚至是历史学作品。作者另一些有影响力的文章实际上从此书中的激进认识论出发，只不过稍微包装了一下。如果熟悉当代研究的话，就会很清楚这本书在关于中东的历史研究中的地位和影响了。
评分开山之作...读后就觉得近年来的Near East Studies写的东西好没新意啊，哈哈。
评分写得还是很牛逼的，就是很多地方结论太激烈，容易让人觉得啊不至于吧...
