阅读速度太捉急。整部书也像是一次R-R理论的操练——Tompkins在Intro中对全书收录的文章悉数加以剧透，而随后的阅读便是对expectation的一次验证。最好看的一篇应该是Tompkins最后的翻案文章，视角真是很独到，虽说不无偷换概念之处…… 这个集子收的文章比较杂，Iser、Riffaterre诸家就不用说了，论笛卡尔的subject以及Prince讨论Narratee那两篇果然还是有些另类。| 不过话说回来，R-R理论还真是西方诸多文论流派中无比简单易读的一支啊。

R-R的经典文献。有意思的是最后一篇Tompkins的文章。先不谈NC，而把R-R与古典作品观念相比较，在古-今之间建立了行动-形式的二分，再返回来将NC与R-R相比，提出R-R的古典性以及对现代形式主义的「反动」。很巧妙很有意思的一种角度，但难免有种被戏耍的感觉
