著者简介

译者丁笃本，毕业于北京大学历史系世界史专业，先后任湖南师范大学历史系讲师、副教授、教授，博士生导师，历史系主任，研究生院院长。2002年调入韶关学院任院长。专业方向为俄苏史、中亚史。精通俄文和英文，曾于1992年至1993年在俄罗斯做访问学者。主要著作有《红旗落地——苏联社会主义70年真相》、《苏联政体与官制史》、《世界之发现》、《中亚通史》（现代卷），翻译有《健康与权力："克里姆林宫医生"回忆录》。
