Eastman也算是美國研究中國曆史的元老級人物瞭吧,目前美國高校中很多曆史教授都是他的phd來著.這本書對中國近現代經濟文化史確實寫得不錯誒~不過就對中文為什麼沒有工業革命這個問題,有些觀點我還是不是很認同,這個可能跟我自己的局限性有關係,不過這個本來也就是個爭論非常多的熱點.不過對於要研究或是要瞭解中國近現代經濟文化史的,這本書怎麼說來都是必讀書目啦~
