与电视比，书也同样好看，虽然没有了视觉上的冲击，没有了Anya的迷人，但Beth的形象依然清晰可见，与电视比，书中的Beth其实更丰满，个人的彷徨、孤独和奋斗更加清晰，当然，电视的结尾更加有力，更能升华女主的形象。

受剧版触动，一口气读完了这本书。这是一个天才的成长故事，初读的时候内心同Beth的距离是比观剧时要远得多（毕竟Anya Taylor-Joy美得不可方物，而拍摄团队也知道如何一步步表现她的美），可一路读下来，内心却不禁感叹：纵然是天才，通往成就的路上也是长满了荆棘。药物和酒精给她带来了镇定和欢愉，也将她引向了绝路的边缘。啊……多么美妙的故事。读罢，怅然若失。最后，这本书中的部分专有名词给全然不懂国际象棋的我带来了不小的困扰，遇到不懂的只能先查Wiki，生怕漏掉什么——所以，看前请慎重……

看了剧上头，kindle刷了原书，也好看，但是没那么惊艳，看来我可能更馋女主角的颜嘿嘿
