「On the kibbutz, it’s hard to know. We’re all supposed to be friends, but only very few really are」小說所呈現的是在一個本該人人都是between friends的環境下，每一個孤獨的人與他的幾個friends之間的愛與愁。人類的生産生活方式或許有很多選擇，但情感卻不會有什麼變化。ps.好想認識最後一章的老頭；人名太難記瞭…

臨走之前用身上最後的以色列貨幣在本古裏安機場買瞭奧茲的書。一個講基布茲裡社會主義集體生活實驗中人與人之間愛與黑暗，理想與幻滅的故事。非常好看，在共產主義意識形態中生活過的我們應該會覺得有一種尤其隱密的共鳴。
