McClintock實現瞭我設想的“構築關於植物生命與生活史更為立體全麵的知識網絡”！激動！| 注：第11章裏的adaptation用的是拉馬剋的意思|Keller後來有惋惜說許多人對這部傳記作女性主義立場的解讀。我覺得McClintock這個例子最有趣的地方在於，在經典基因理論與分子基因理論的交互下——轉座子被發現的曆史以及從基因到基因組學到底有哪些科學認識在發生變化。
