评分A brave, yet incomplete, early attempt at setting forth normative dimensions of human-made environments. Perhaps best seen as an overarching framework of Lynch’s work on cities and city design. Particularly acute in revealing the role of human activities and institutions in shaping spatial qualities. vitality/sense/fit/control/access.
评分以人為本。。城市觀挺先進的，跟現在的復雜科學對城市的敘述一樣：城市建立在個人間的社會交流之上。
评分林奇走嚮“場所”的著作，係統論的痕跡仍很明顯，仍在追求優化的城市形態，當然，也是為什麼他會提齣城市形態的若乾評判標準。不幸的是，這一工作沒有結尾，林奇就去世瞭。這本書就留下更多的糾集。
