评分在刚刚看到《生命不息》这本书的简介时，我一直觉得这会是一本科幻书，比如穿越时间隧道什么的，或者干脆就像中国的影视剧那样，主人公可以借助某一个天象或者事件穿越。但真正看了书后才发觉，这本书和穿越什么的根本就不沾边，倒是充满了哲学意味。一条蛇衔着自己的尾巴...

This is a fiction story. There are areas that doesn't make sense but plese ignore it. I find this book is difficult to read. Difficult in the way of multiple story lines. I have to flip backward to remind me what happen in her previous life or lifes. The ending is open for discussion.
评分I had high hopes for this book, but sadly it didn't work for me (it's more personal and the hiatus didn't help). However, I do admire Atkinson's ability to weave such a grand story with skill and precision. Reincarnation is not an easy subject to write about since it's very easy to make readers feel "gimmicky". Also a vivid portrait of the family.
