I don't want to forgive her for using a familiar translation instead of a superior (and slightly cheaper too) one (9780199539208 with corresponding line numbers in the original Middle High German, explanatory notes, better list of names, Gral family genealogy, and above all a more readable translation). Her reason was lame.

Wolfram von Eschenbachs Parzival ist eines der meistgelesenen Werke im Mittelalter. Wolfram verfährt sehr frei mit seinen Quellen. Der komplizierte Gesamtaufbau des Werkes zeigt die Entwicklung Parzivals vom unerfahrenen Knaben zum tapferen Artusritter und dann, darüber hinaus, zum frommen und weisen Gralskönig.
