Instead of giving in to despair, the two spent almost a year moving from shelters, "HO-tels", and soup-lines, even sleeping in the public restroom of a subway station - ultimately making an astonishing transformation from the bathroom to the boardroom.

在zbb看到清华大学出版社的英文版。作者很诚实，所以有些不宜的内容也都写进去了。成功啊……金钱啊……
评分感觉没有电影好看。
评分只能是还行。我先看了电影再看这本书，所以期待有点高。电影里的 Chris 把他的生活单独割裂下来了，只展现了他刚进股票交易所工作的那一段时间。我很敬佩他在这么艰难的生活中都没有自暴自弃，反而不断努力争取更好的生活。这本书从他的童年开始讲起，侧重介绍他为什么会努力，为什么会这么爱他的儿子，但是并不如电影那么震撼人心。而且，里面太多成人角度的内容，很不适合推荐给中学生看。如果家里有还在上学的孩子，还是陪他们一起看看电影版就算了吧。
