我不太认同“科幻文学是点子文学”的说法，一个好点子不足以撑起一部好的科幻，文学性是一方面，更重要的是思想性。很多细节背后都包含了弱者战胜强者的智慧、对殖民统治社会矛盾与变革的洞察、对无政府主义的反思。比起Mike我更喜欢Prof，在教授眼里Revolution是一门科学也是一项工程，组织形态、信息交互形式、优势资源和社会环境的营造都必不可少。简单故事框架下，叙事深度超出预期。
