著者簡介

Mark Allen Weiss，1987年在普林斯頓大學獲得計算機科學博士學位，師從Robert Sedgewick (師從Knuth)，現任美國佛羅裏達國際大學計算與信息科學學院教授。他曾經擔任全美AP(Advanced Placement)考試計算機學科委員會的主席(2000-2004)。他的主要研究方嚮是數據結構、算法和教育學。

在学校图书馆借了这本书， 粗略看了一些，发现感觉很多句子不通顺。。。 感觉像《 c primer plus》那本书的翻译风格才是好的。 希望翻译者以后在翻译相关书籍时注意语言的通顺和典雅，不要 太生硬。

大学期间从头到尾看了5遍。 代码比较精致，尤其是avl树那段，记忆犹新。 内容上偏基础向，偏实现，适合有一定C语言基础的人入门数据结构。 自己感觉图论讲的一般，后面摊还分析讲的也比较凑合。 额，我的评论太短了。。

本书作者 Mark Allen Weiss 还写过 [C 语言描述] 和 [Java 语言描述] 版本的数据结构和算法分析教程。 另外，图灵出版社的同系列还有 Michael McMillan 写的 [C# 语言描述] 版本的算法书。 C++ 熟练者可忽略讲述 C++ 特性的第 1 章，如果把这些关于 C++ 特性的篇幅去掉，本书会...

8.28------- 其实CLRS的书在论证方面也不能算太好，例如霍夫曼编码，缺点说明见此文：http://mindhacks.cn/2011/07/10/the-importance-of-knowing-why-part3/ 但是，仍旧比Weiss的走脑。现在觉得，如果是以求甚解的心态去学算法，书本真的不能选薄的。。。因为这种书只能用来当...
